The recycled lumber, beam, and reclaimed wood flooring products are available in both an “as is” and re-manufactured condition. Please allow yourself a considerable lead time when ordering as our recycled wood products are custom tailored to meet your architectural requirements and require particular attention to detail. Whether the lumber is reclaimed from a Canadian grain elevator, an antiquated lumber mill or an outdated military base, be assured that your reclaimed wood products will be 100% recycled and you are contributing to the “Green Movement”.

It is has been gratifying to see the level of interest in the environment and sustainable construction practices rise so dramatically in recent years. This is evident in the number of organizations we have seen sprout up both selling and certifying reclaimed wood products. The FSC and USGBC organizations in particular have been standouts in terms of the certification and promotion of green building practices. In the fall of 2008 Vintage received recognition for our complete line of reclaimed wood products by the Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC has classified our products 100% recycled content. Although we have been providing our recycled products for nearly 20 years, (longer than both the FSC and US Green Building Council have been around), it is great to now have an independent organization certify our products as such. For those clients interested in acquiring Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification administered by the US Green Building Council, our reclaimed wood products are eligible for the MR4 (materials reuse) and MR5 (regional materials) credits. Your project would be eligible for the LEED regional materials credit if the project is within 500 miles of our location. This includes locations throughout the Southern California area stretching as far north as San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Sacramento and east past Las Vegas and Phoenix.
